Leverage and duplication are both words commonly heard in Network Marketing. But in reality, each of us has only 24 hours a day. With so much noise out there and plenty of tasks on hand, how do we, as a network marketer effectively use our time to market and promote our business?
Below are a few guidelines that you may want to follow if you are lost or feel that time is always not enough for you to promote your home based business. First of all, we are in a marketing industry so our primary goal and objective is to market and brand ourselves.
There are a ton of marketing methods and ways to go about promoting your business. However, one has to choose one or two marketing methods and get real well on it before expanding out to various methods. There are free and paid marketing methods, if you are on a tight budget, take the free route, but if you have the money to spend, take the paid route which may includes, pay per click ads and social media ads like Facebook.
Taking the paid route is much easier because there are only a few of the giant advertising platform you will need to focus on.
However, if you take the free route, there are many ways, methods and platform for you to take advantage. This is where things start to get tricky. If you are doing this business part time, you may find that time is not always on your side as after when you got home, you have only left with three to four hours to really market your network marketing business.
So what you have to do to maximize your time is to draft out a weekly planner.
First, you have to note down which type of marketing method you want to use to promote your network marketing business. After that, go into detail of each marketing method and list the action steps down. For example, if you are using article marketing to drive traffic to your website, then you have to do something like this. On Monday, write and submit three articles to EzineArticles. On Tuesday, write and submit two more articles to various articles directories like GoArticles and so on and so forth. It is tedious but the reward is well worth.
So now that you know that you are using article marketing method, then you can list down in your weekly planner that you will start writing your articles at 9pm to midnight on Monday and Tuesday. Then on Wednesday, you may want to do some prospecting and on Thursday, you can do some self development and writing more articles. Then on Friday, you may want to do some more prospecting.
As you can see, with a schedule like this, you will be able to effectively use your limited time to full effect. The last thing that you will want to know is discipline. In order to see it through in your network marketing business, one has to be self discipline, motivated and focus. Without these three major factors, no matter how good is your weekly plan, you are still at where you are now.
