Are you ready to throw in the towel because you don't know how to run an Internet network marketing business? In my opinion, only a rare individual can develop a thriving Internet network marketing business because of the huge learning curve involved. You've got to be trained in a number of areas such as website creation, video marketing, e-mail marketing, pay per click, article marketing, social bookmarking and the list goes on and on. Because of this, an overwhelming majority of network marketers tend to gravitate towards primarily using conventional marketing methods. Oftentimes, they engage in business practices that they're not adequately skilled to perform such as:
  1. Persuading somebody to join your company.
  2. Training him/her how to be assertive and self-motivated.
  3. Train him/her how to sell after convincing them not to be afraid of selling.
  4. Training shy people how to become leaders.
Only about 3% of network marketers have the competency to successfully perform these required business-building tasks. Because of this, most people will ultimately give up on their Internet network marketing business.
Now, here's a tip:
  • Don't blindly follow your company-provided recruiting program exactly... you know the one that mentions the dreaded "3 foot rule", talking to at least 2 people a day about your opportunity, and/or making a list of friends and family.
Did you know that these business tactics are now considered functionally obsolete in the technically advanced era we now live in, and are over a half-century-old? What worked a decade or two ago, simply won't work today. The thing that you absolutely must know is that these tactics are only beneficial to your network marketing company, but are not helpful for distributors. Think of it this way... if your company has thousands of distributors on the books, and each one of those distributors gets somebody to join their business - the company will then have thousands of new customers! However, each distributor has gained only ONE person in his/her respective down line. How is that for an eye-opener?
Statistics demonstrate the following facts:
o Only 20% of distributors actually recruit anyone.
o Only 15% make more than $10.00 a month.
o Average distributors recruit less than two people into their program.
o Only 10% are able to make a decent living with network marketing.
o Only 3% are financially successful and earn over $100k per year.
o The rest are disappointed, feel like failures and ultimately quit in less than 3 months.
The real secret to having a successful Internet network marketing business is to brand yourself, not your company. If you simply make it a priority to develop your overall online marketing skills, you'll be amazed at how quickly you can generate some real business success. Also, only seek out promising upstart companies so that you won't have to compete against thousands of other established distributors. New start-up companies will give you the best chance to make the most money within the shortest period of time.
The key is to find a new company that offers:
o A universally appealing product that people use and need.
o A product that gives customers real sense of value and benefits them in many ways.
o A reasonably priced product/service.
o Something customers will undeniably use for years so they will not drop out of the program.
By simply following the tips and advice shared in this article, you'll soon have a successful Internet network marketing business.
